I know, I know, I'm not very good at this whole 'blogging' thing. I hope you'll be happy to note that I discovered some unfinished posts from Kenya in 2011... and I'm going to post them.
So the next several posts will be from two years ago. I tried to give them some closure before posting them, but they may appear somewhat scatterbrained. That probably has as much to do with the fact that I'm simply a scatterbrained person as it does to do with the fact that I'm completing and posting them two years later.
In other news, in case some of you aren't already aware (which is probably none of you, considering that the small handful of people who actually care enough about me to wade through my mindless dribble already know about the journey I'm about to embark upon), I'm about to embark upon another journey! (Also, I've started using exclamation points now!... please excuse me while I stick my face in this paper bag... for no reason, of course... it's just something I do...)
In two days, I'll be leaving for Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Germany. I promise I'll do a better job of keeping posts updated, and finishing the chronicle of the journey when I'm done. I do not promise that the chronicle of the journey will be any less scatterbrained, or any more readable. If you decide to follow along, don't say I didn't warn you.
Now, almost without any further ado, I present to you most the final few posts from a trip that happened so long ago that it almost doesn't matter any more.
